I started practicing Iyengar Yoga in 2000 and qualified as a Level 1 teacher in 2010. I have studied extensively with the Iyengar Family in Pune and with Senior and Advanced Teachers in the Iyengar system.
I have completed Yoga Therapy trainings with Stephanie Quirk and have recently been one of the lead teachers selected to teach remedial yoga online to new students, as part of the Long Covid Study by the IY (uk), this was conducted during November and December 2021. I continue to work remedially with students one to one.
I have written for the IY (uk) for OM Yoga Magazine recently published in December 2021 the article titled "Yoga for Stress".
I am an experienced in teaching beginners and intermediate students, I have taught students who have qualified as Level 1 teachers, I am currently teaching level 1 and level 2 teachers.
I first started Yoga for stress and was amazed to see that the strength, stability and flexibility I gained in my physical body and brought the same to my mind!
The sanctuary I find within my practice enables me to live a happier more fulfilled life on a psychological and physical level. I am committed to sharing this joy with others encouraging them to find strength, stillness and peace through yoga.
Since 2020 there has been challenging events and has changed our lives, for some of us, some changes are longstanding, I am indebted and grateful for the practice of Iyengar Yoga, the work and teachings of the Iyengar Family.

I have a fully equipped studio with Iyengar Wall ropes.
